Lappy dying on me. Knew this would happen. Oh pls dont do this. There is this black patch at the corner of the screen. It is my fault. I caused that black patch. I must hv pressed against it too hard. Sigh, I am very sad now. I need a new laptop =(

Had such a busy wk. Welcome night on Fri, being in-charge of food wasnt easy. Our house always doing lots and lots of food, but I rather enjoyed it. It was fun preparing food and talking rubbish together in the kitchen and making a mess of everything, haha..Next day had Treasure Hunt arnd city. 4 ppl in a grp, Sitcom hse minus Shake plus Chrissy. Rather enthu initially. Fun too.
So hot in Melb again. 37 degrees today. Room havent turned into sauna yet, so guessing it hasnt reached its peak of 37 yet. Still have to go for lect ltr on in the afternoon...Dread walking in the heat. Sprained ankle while playing bball yest. At first could still move and all, so didnt think it was a big deal, but it did become more painful and slightly swollen when i got home. Too bad it's only the 2nd wk of uni, havent made friends I can count on, so cant skip lect to rest at home. Going to see fireworks in the evening. Will limp my way there, LOL!!!

Ok time to break the silence. Sudden lost of interest in updating and even visiting own blog. Very often just drifting off to sleep, I thought of how my day was spent and the sometimes interesting things I encountered during the day and all the beautiful sentences I could use, but next day I either forget or not bothered. Seems like the literature bug only comes at night. But must still share this little amusing story.
A few days after we came back to Melb, my bro and I went down to the city and I grabbed a copy of MX (like Spore Today) along the way. Flipped thru the pages and saw an Air Asia ad. We saw "Fly to JB $15". We got so exciting and started to plan the number of times we can fly back to Sg. Even had the thought of going back every alternate weekends. Kept talking and talking and getting so exciting abt it. But alas, we fail to see the smaller prints - Fly from KL to JB. Imagine the disappointment.
Ok end of story. I am officially a 1st yr student again. Just gotten my nice nice student card this afternoon. No more flimsy piece of lousy laminated paper. I wanted to go back into Melb Uni just to get the student card. Yup spend several thousand a yr just to get a card. LOL!! I havent paid my fees yet..First day first seminar. Everything is so foreign. That's the price to pay for choosing a postgrad course which is totally unrelated to previous degree. Whatever the lecturer said I could prob understand 20% of it. Ok not so bad, I could understand the single words, but when put together, doesnt make much sense. On the brighter side it is only 1st lect, hopefully will be better as it goes...I hv no friends. i miss my uni coursemates.
Butterfly Effect is a great movie. Heard so much abt it but didnt watch. Finally brought myself to watch. Watched with housemates over dinner. Really unpredictable storyline. So many times he tried to set things right, but it turned for the worse. Well his intentions are gd. So many times it happened, and it gets slightly funny now as I thought back. LOL!!! But still it's a great movie.
