woke up early to go uni take pics with benny and jessie. they graduated!! congrats to them!! this is the 4th time (excluding my own) i am taking pics with graduates. the atmosphere's the same every time. so exciting. there are many more pictures to take this yr end. last yr i didnt have friends other than my coursemates to take pic with me. very saddening. have to constantly remind myself i am not a student anymore. what is my next stop??
anyway had driving this morning. had a gd drive. used all 4 gears =) . made a stupid mistake at the traffic lights after doing a right turn. would had failed if i took the test this morning. other than that, i enjoyed today's drive. very gd weather. shld hv booked my test on a sat morning. mine is on a tue morning. crap...

had another busy wk again last wk. work, dinner at our place, grace pin's bday dinner, e-night, church, bball, dinner at sze chuan place. another brand new wk beginning and i am feeling.....lazy. my little finger is hurting. ouch. must be from yest's bball. for once i was feeling slightly sweaty playing bball. had the whole court to ourselves. ran so much that i felt tired. where have all the stamina gone?? gone with wind i suppose. after a while it was back to half court. played then waited in the cold, played then waited in the cold and the cycle continues. will get sick one fine day. anyway went to the sze chuan place called Dainty smthing in chinatown after bball. we had to be very exclusive, only those who can and loves spicy food could come along =D waited more than half hr for a table. the food was not bad, but we were so greedy, ordered too much food. the chef's special was the chicken. it was covered in a mountain of dried chilli. finding the small pieces of chicken in the mountain of chilli was like treasure hunt. the only thing i dont like abt the food is that that added some small hard round herb stuff. those things numb ur tongue and food taste the same after that. can go back again. looking forward to eat the eggplant thing.
will our ski trip still be on?? who wants to go skiing?? 6 yrs already, haven been skiing. sad =(

had a very very busy weekend. UB was here for her grad last wed and went back this morning already. that was fast. went to take pics with her on Sat and OCF Convention Ball in the evening. UB and lai-dia stayed over. no.3 made fantastic breakfast for us next morning. went church. lunch. bball. serene's bday dinner at OrientalSpoon. this is like the 101 times i have been there for dinner. and everytime we go there, we will order the same food. i reckon they shld give us a VIP card soon. anyway the convention ball was quite gd, except the food. didnt really like it. only 2 course, main and dessert. we almost thought we couldnt make it for the main course as our cab took forever to come. reached there at 8+ when the thing was to start at arnd 7. took quite a lot of pics there. still waiting for other pics to come in. everybody looked so different esp the girls. dont get to see girls dressing up everyday. this is the last time i m going to wear white. makes me look fat. it is not my colour. will stick to my fav black next time. safest colour. i love blogs with pics. posting lots of pics. so sorry to those with slower internet speed....

happy national day fellow singaporeans!! haha..had 3 days of work this wk!! this is such a improvement for me. chn and the colleagues are great, but very tiring. when i come back from work each day, i would be half dead. after work today, i met a cute old lady on the tram. when i boarded the tram, i sat next to her listening to my music. suddenly the old lady asked if the tram was heading towards the city. i said yes and continued with my music. then she talked to me again. she said things like she havent come to this part of melb before blah blah blah. after that i found out she stays alone and goes to many places in different trams. as in she will take the tram from outside her house and just travel everywhere. so cool, that was what my friend and i always wanted to do back in spore. hop on any bus and see where the bus takes us. anyway, the cute old lady said she goes to city federation square every day, footscray, and she loves st kilda beach. she even told me abt the things / the strange ppl which happened on the tram with her. she also talked abt her family. i dont know if i heard wrongly, but she said she lost all the family members in the tsunami. when she said that, i saw tears at the corner of her eyes. i felt so sorry for her. she is 84 btw. but after that she continued talking abt her children and grandchildren. so i am guessing she did not lose her immediate family members. she is such a cool old cute grandma. really cute. when she was talking abt "bad" things, she would soften her voice and come very close to me to say and after that continued with normal voice. this is like what young girls would do, heh..talked to her throughout the whole tram ride until i had to get off. i wanted to share the gospel with her, then she talked abt how God is in control. hmm...so i didnt continue, assuming she is already a christian. hmm hmm hmm...sigh...if i stayed long enough on the tram, i might ask her more. maybe i, or some of you, might meet her, considering she takes the tram so often. look out for the cool old cute grandma!!! =D
anyway kenchin, daniel, rachelle, charles and xiao xi came over to have steamboat at our place and to watch the NDP at the same time. ate till so full again. after the NDP, listened to spore songs from online. feel homesick after watching NDP and listening to songs, esp the song "Home" by Kit Chan. i reckon that's the best song out of the many others. makes us think abt our country, the tiny little dot. a lot of those songs brought back memories. had to sing community songs during pri and sec sch days. (i had a very patriotic post 2 yrs ago i think) anyway i am super tired now, got to slp soon as i have to meet serene early tml. well early for me. she is always doing this to me........ok wouldnt complain, she wouldnt be here for long. k nitez peeps.

had dinner at huimin's place tonight. on my way there, saw a beautiful rainbow, 2 rainbows in fact. it was prettier after i took the pic, much brighter. dont feel like typing anymore. pics will do.
