ahh...i suddenly feel very stress. my head feels like it is going to explode!! it is filled with so many things. i got a case officer handling my PR application. i am surpised it is this fast, i was thinking maybe i will only get a response in july or august. anyway she emailed me on 21st may and i have till june 18th to submit all outstanding documents. i checked email on 22nd, meaning i wasted 1 day. i wasted today going thru the documents. if eveything cant be done by then, they will consider the application with whatever documents they received from me previously. which means i wouldnt hv enough points yet. well...so i have to get things done ASAP, meaning no more procastinating if i still want to stay in aust. police check from spore takes abt 14 days to process, then plus sending mail back to spore and for them to send back, minus the weekends, it will arrive roughly around june 18th!!! getting very worried. i have till june 18th, if not i will be back home. home home. i will even go back earlier than serene. haha..aiyah..not supposed to be a laughing matter. time to be serious. will throw every other things aside for now, settle one thing first. arghhhhh....alright calm down, rem to breathe.
well on a lighter note, i rewarded myself by buying a iRiver. wanted to buy a new mp3 for a long time, since my previous one is faulty. so told myeslf if i earn more than certain amt i will get it. voila, a new iRiver. it is a good buy. quite worthed it for the price except it is the size of a handphone.
oh also thanks to all of you who emailed / called / MSNed / tagged me. feel so loved.
Spiderman3 down..still have got more to look forward to. Pirates3, Shrek3, Harry Potter5 (?). for now.. helped out with the babysitting job yest. 3 young boys, 2, 5 and 9. very nice family in a very humble house. went there, the boys were having dinner. after a while, the 2 yr old went to slp, leaving the 2 older boys to watch a movie. the 5 yr old fell asleep while watching. carried him to his bed. the 9 yr old one finished the movie and was abt to go to bed, but he was surfing thru the channels on TV and Pirates1 was on, so he watched. i joined him too. he knows a lot, very sensible boy. when his parents came back, he was still awake. it was really fun. the boys did not need anyone to take care of them, they just needed someone to be there. great boys. babysitting job is almost exactly like how i read in storybooks last time. i still rem the "babysitter's club" series. haha..well, i dont mind helping the family out. they are too nice. thank God for opportunities. new wk ahead again...look forward look forward look forward!!!
i think i need someone to knock me in the head real hard sometimes. sigh.
anyway i love the place where i worked for 2 days. the one where i had my placement. it is the ideal place for work. most children were great, colleagues were easy to get along. they thanked me for everything, praised that i was very neat. i get high hearing those, especially after a looooong day a work. a simple "thank you" makes my day. it gives me the feeling that they really enjoyed having you there and not just treating you as s***. i longed for this feeling when i was doing my placements, but i dont normally get good colleagues then. i had fun working there. the location is very gd as well. super convenient. if i ever get work there, i will thank God, jump up and down 50 times, smile till the sides of my mouth reach each ear, showing all my teeth, laugh for 2 whole days without stopping, grin at everyone i meet on the streets and say "you look great", call everyone in my handphone contact list and say hello. i will look forward to it everyday. BUT unfortunately they dont hv any positions available. i am already missing the kids. i want work there!!! there was a student from melb uni doing her first placement in my room. i rem how i hated placements. i saw my old self plus a bit of other things in her. not confident. shy. not knowing what to do. had to wait for instructions. eager to please. nervous, scared, not sure if things will run well. no idea how i score full marks for my first placement. the teachers must be super generous. everyone who graduated the same time as me are already following their dream, except me. what do i want exactly? before i slp each night, i have many thoughts running in my mind. everything ranging from short term goals to long term ones. short term like the things i want to do when i wake up in the morning. long term would be thinking abt maybe going back home to work instead of staying in melb. well, i guess away from home is a form of escapism. escaping from reality. escaping from relatives and friends of parents asking what i am doing now that i had graduated. even escaping from parents' eyes. i had many great ideas when i was still studying last time. i imgained (so naively) that i would have a job straight after graduating, then i will work for a few yrs, earn enough money (so that i wouldnt use parents' money) then get back to studying. maybe my most current idea is get back to studying if i get my PR. study what, i have no idea yet, maybe something related to my course, maybe something totally different like botany or zoology, haha. my future is bleak =( think the best thing to do now is to pray and put my trust in God.
alvina came to melb for a visit!! she is different from the last time. more matured. no more heeheehaha...a changed woman, =D
went for work today at one of the centres for my placements. so happy when i got work there. i was wondering if any of those children whom i saw last time are still there. i saw them when they were babies, so they would be abt 5 this yr. i saw a little boy in the room and i thought looked like one of those babies last time, checked in the book, saw the name, but realised was not the same boy. was disappointed. towards the end of the day, saw a few familiar faces. and they ARE those children i looked after 4 yrs ago!! of coz they dont rem me. 2 of them were my focus children (those i had to do observations on). the last time i saw them, they were still crawling and cant even walk yet, now they are big kids, can run arnd, speak so clearly, make friends. the feeling was 'wow', cant explain. it was as if they grew over night. maybe that's the same feeling as how those aunties would always say "wah...so big now already ah..." when they saw us once in a while. i recognise the little girl by her eyes. i rem her big and very innocent eyes. children do grow very fast, now i know.
watching Spiderman3 today. maybe this one is the best one out of the 3. not sure. it was too draggy though. that harry guy (james franco) is cute. very clean-shaven, nice smile, nice teeth, the type of guy i will like. heh.
hotmail is cool, they now have 2GB of storage space and dont know what features, haven looked thru. but chance upon this interesting mail which i received in the yr 2000. think some of you might hv received it before. i cant cut and paste here, so i hv to type everything out. i think i am too free. very long, but read and enjoy.

(hahaha...yes, i was fascinated with the balsam fruit. squeeze and it will pop open. i was so excited to see we had balsam plants at our grandparents hse in msia) 26. Who can forget Ahmad, Bala, Sumei and John eternalised in our minds from the textbooks. Even Mr Willy. (of coz we wouldnt forget..names of the 4 races in SG) 27. You did stupid exercises like seal crawl and frog jumps. (yah, those rubbish exercises..PE lessons taken by our form teachers. they will threaten not to let us have PE if we were noisy) 28. Every children's day or national day you either get pins or pens with "Happy Children's Day 1993" or files with "Happy National Day 1994". (have lots of those, we have 3 sets of those things) 29. (well...i wasnt the lucky one. will only have $2 at the most and that includes lunch when we had remedial or ECA) 35. You freak out when the teacher tells you to line up according to height or hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl. (ok lah...not that bad..they dont ask us to hold hands when we were in upper pri. in lower pri, we dont know anything, so it's ok) 36. Handkerchiefs were a must for both genders. (yes yes...confess, i carry handkerchiefs till abt pri 4, mainly for drying hands, coz mum said dont dry on clothes or wet the floor with water dripping from hands) 37. (i have loads of those, esp coloured pens. also very intrigued with pencil cases with gadget. press a button and something will open) 38. survival of the fittest?? i never witness so many deaths in such a short period of time before. i dread going downstairs finding another one dead. but i think the last 2 seem strong enough to stay alive. shake sent an sms HAPPILY this morning to inform us that my 2nd angel fish is dead too. too much lah this girl, now she happy already, one more fish to join her shark yan 2. noticed that wan fish wasnt eating yest. the other 2 even more happy lah, can gloat over their survival. think shark yan and wan fish cannot stay with the other fishes. they rather die than to stay in a small tank. LOL!! yan fish will follow what the goldfish is doing. when goldfish eats, yan fish will eat too. goldfish stays at the same spot, yan fish stays. stupid or not?? anyway woke up at 7 this morning to wait for call again. waited till 7.45 and decided that they wouldnt call. just as i drifted back to slp, they called to ask if i can be at work at 8.45 at east melb. i asked where exactly the place is, they told me near chadstone shopping centre. obviously i cant get there is 50 mins. think the journey will take abt that long. so after hearing it is near chadstone, i had to reject it. after hanging up, i checked the melways. east melb is a little further than fitzroy, near victoria gdns. but still, dont think i can get there in time. so another boring day at home. sigh. stay at home, eat and get fat. boo.
My life is an open book.
Loves God, family n friends.
