shark yan died again. it was found dead at the bottom of the tank this morning. not sure what happened this time. we bought a pump and replaced the 2 dead fish yest, thinking they will survive a longer this time round. person who sold us the fish said their life span is abt 2 yrs. well, it lasted barely 1 day. maybe a fish's life span of 2 yrs is human yr 1 day. haha..opps, RIP again shark yan.
just as i wanted to blog abt the 4 new lives in our hse, one of the them died. our hsewarming gift brought over by jon and ken and daniel. they very thoughtfully given us 4 fishes, 1 representing each of us. however, 1 survived only a mere 5 days at our place, due to the lack of oxygen. it was pronounced dead at abt 12 am 29th April 07. it was very cruelly disposed of. it was picked up by a pair of chopsticks. it had many pictures taken before it was dumped into the bin with the rest of the rubbish. the poor fish had its mouth opened and eyes wide open (obviously their eyes dont close). maybe can grab the pic from yanyanyan..i think i confirmed with myself, after tonight, that i have a phobia of dead fishes. i just dont like seeing them dead and the way their bodies are disposed of. *yucks* i had to stand at the stairs to hide from the gruesome sight of my bro picking the dead fish up with the chopsticks and yanyanyan taking shots from all angles. shake was standing there watching the whole process, exactly like a medical student watching the doctor during prac. LOL!! i got a feeling i will find another one dead in the morning. anyway RIP to the fish. guess which one died?? guess which one will die next?? no price for guessing right.
--edited-- another fish dead at 1.25am. RIP RIP =(
updates ah updates...nothing much to update, except we finally had our hsewarming. prepared too much food. we were still worried there wasnt enough..our hse is now very warm, warmed by so many ppl who came. hoped they had fun..a few of the guys stayed till late to solve a problem, they cracked their brains for 1 1/2 hrs. i couldnt stand them, so played mahjong. i must say mahjong is really not for me. still dont understand a lot of the rules. cannot be tai tai next time already. maybe i can be more high class, play bridge and drink tea in the afternoon. LOL!!! anyway hsewarming was great. went to slp at 5+ in the morning and left a few of them playing mahjong and watching soccer. well, tt's the most exciting thing which happened these few days i guess. the next exciting thing will be tonight OCF's e-night. Prison Break. stay tune. heh =D
sick sick sick. still sick. anyway just received an email from jess!!! so glad to hear from her after so so long. it feels as if she is still here staying in Melb. it feels like we are complaining about our sucky assignments to each other thru email. sigh....miss her so much, wish she was here. luckily lee-ean's still here, although she stays really far away. sigh...miss the 2 girls. when will we meet again??
hi peeps, i m back. ppl been telling me everytime they visit this site, they will always see "happy birthday yanyanyan", haha. haven touched this blog for such a long time. almost 2 mths. lots of things to settle, most of it done already. ok will update the main highlights using the 56k dial-up internet. we are going backwards. haha..luckily it wouldnt be long. love our new house. really fantastic. great company, but we will get stupid-er. LOL!! seeing lots of unglam sides of each other. ok enough bad things abt my hsemates for the night =D ok next, i got a casual job. it is gd except it is unpredictable. i wouldnt know when i will have work, so got to wake up at 7.30 every morning to wait for call from the agency or call them up for work. i gave myself a break last wk during the easter break. well, not that i worked very hard everyday, but i cant bear to go to work while my hsemates are having hols, haha..just as i am all geared up for work, i fell sick. not sure how i caught the flu bug, maybe from belgrave. work on thur, hopefully i will be well enough. i still feel very strange to say that "i have work" or "i am working". seems so old. went for Belgrave Convention this easter. first time i went for full-time. had fun there, maybe coz a lot of "shou" ppl around. it was funny seeing ppl dozing off during the sermons. can see how their heads bobbing up and down. we kept ourselves "entertain" by the sleeping beauties or writing messages to each other during sermons. HAHA!! celebrated jason's bday on the last night there at the camp. stayed up on the last night as well. dont know why i torture myself by staying up. if we were doing something productive, it was worthed it to stay up. but then now as i think back, we did not do anything near to being productive. played lots of "bridge" and "dai di". stupid lah. felt so terrible towards the morning. sign of old age catching up. i promise myself that i wouldnt stay up doing nothing again. maybe that's how i fell sick, not enough rest. but then if it was really because of it, my body is retarded then. only sick after 1 wk. celebrate my bro's bday on sun. first time celebrating with him on foreign grounds. come to think of it, our family never make a big fuss out of birthdays. usually go out for dinner and dont really do anything on the day itself. it is just like another passing day. sometimes i miss being a student. miss hanging out with coursemates in union house while waiting for next lect. miss writing / drawing stuff on lecture notes. miss complaining about assignments and how our lecturers are so demanding. so ironic. grass is definitely greener on the other side ;p
ok will upload some pics when we get broadband. cant believe we are using 56 k internet!! time to get some rest.
My life is an open book.
Loves God, family n friends.
I thank God for his grace shown to me all these years, placing great friends in my life =)
