brand new wk again. let's see, e-nite on fri. the backhall was nicely arranged and the atmosphere was different. the dim setting made it cafe-like, but at the same time made ppl do crazy things like tell lame jokes. joined serene's table during dessert time. her table was nuts, with yan yan arnd. she was telling the lamest jokes. seriously man. helped out with waitressing on fri for the e-nite. man, it wasnt easy. hand busy leg messy (directly translated from mandarin). didnt get to watch the skit and listen to the msg. heard it was really gd. got the video but the sound wasnt tt gd. but it looked gd on the whole.
sat went yum cha with the JC committee. gd stuff. haha. lame jokes went round the table again. after that went office works to get files. so happy to buy new things. love seeing the different types of files and everything else. went home to persuade juen to go dinner with me and catch up with some albert hse ppl. persuaded her for 1 hr and in the end she still did not budge. anyway we went aijisen ramen with grace and jovi. mad and vesesse came later, amy and ann did not come in the end. talked for a while n dropped by amy and ann's place before coming back.

eat and eat and eat. growing horizontally. stupid.
uni started. went for placement on mon. my supervising teacher and the assistant teacher in the room were not arnd, so i had a very slack day. the girls in the room are very friendly. some of the little boys are not too bad too. still getting to know them. i find this sem's lectures boring. yest had maths and 3 hr navigating lecture. lucky for us, we started late, had break in between and we were let off early. today's lecture was not much better. boring, but the lecturer is nice. tml timetable is terrible. first lect at 9, den a 5 hr break, coz one lecture hasnt started. then tute at 3.15. how horrible....fri another 2 hrs. they could hv easily given us days off, but they chose not to, purposely having lectures everyday. ooo...lots of complains in this post.
oh had 2nd driving lesson on tue. it was fun. more coordination now. eyes, hands and legs. haven stalled the car yet. LOL!! watched click too. it had gd moral behind the movie. i was being warned abt crying at this movie, so was so prepared, but it din turn out to be that bad after all. it was really touching at 2 scenes though. one was the last time he seen and the way he treated his father and the next was the bit when he was dying. overall, the movie was alright. more movies to come...the lake house is next.
ok shld stop here and continue with harry potter. it is finishing =(

ok hv to continue updating this blog to let my frendz know what's going on in my life. here goes, huixian. hmm, feeling very tired now. led chn in songs for sunday sch this morning. it was so bad. i am traumatised!! the chn are restless and not interested. to make things worse, our first 2 songs were rather slow. things were draggy. argh!! nvm next wk is shake's turn. let her be traumatised. hah. sermon was really long today, but interesting. mark's gospel is like story book, easy to read and understand. well at least for me it is. that's where the storyline of 'the passion of christ' is from anyway. after service, headed to uropa to celebrate adeline's bdae. the tan sisters and grace did all the cooking. really admire them. we did all the eating. great food. good company. but a rainy rainy day again.
went out yest with grace and peipei to get presents for the july peepz. on my way back, bumped into huimin. how unexpected. she was going for dinner with her frendz, and they were heading towards my direction, so i had their company to walk back home. hah..huimin if u are reading this, got to cancel our dinner date tml. wed dinner prob. contact u again.
ok start of new sem. placement tml. hmm..this time's placement seems rather strict and very professional. got to bring out my formal clothings again. luckily it's just once a wk for now. and lucky that i have jess and chunfei with me on this round. pray that it will be gd. going back to uni on tue. timetable is not gd. lots of breaks in between. i have 12 hours of contact time, but it stretches over 4 days + 1 day of placement everyweek. pros and cons i guess.
i am not ready for uni, or am i?? last sem.

special things need to be updated. i had my first driving lesson this morning!!! first time touching a car. i was so scared that i would overslp that i even had dreams abt it. this first lesson i juz had to concentrate on the steering wheel and change gears. rather scary considering i am on the road and controlling the car. luckily my instructor is a nice guy. very encouraging. driving have to have gd hand, eye coordination. and got to concentrate as well. i have problems with keeping the car straight. imagine next times i would hv to control the pedals too. die die. hah. ok more lessons to come.

had a busy weekend, but it was fun. it kept slipping my mind what actually happened this weekend. went to melvin's place on sat. it was gd. all the food was yummy-licious. company was great as well. simply love it. watched 'i not stupid too' there with a bunch of others. it feels different watching shows with ppl. you cant really laugh to urself if you are watching alone. i mean you can, but it is somehow weird if someone passed by your room and hear giggles. LOL!! oh the movie was funny and serious. made me think abt spore all over again.
yest had church sunday school anniversary. children had a performance. they did great with the songs. i love the songs. the message was very gd too. meant for the chn, but i enjoyed it a lot mself. after church, went arnd city hunting for shake's present. kept changing our minds abt what we want to get her. made ourselves so tired. rested a little at serene's before heading down to la porchetta to meet the rest for dinner. after dinner was where the fun began. sabo time for shake. tradition for 21st. she had her hands and legs tied up (how cruel rite ;) ) and had showers of blessings then sour cream followed by eggs. how fun!! some ppl including myself got caught in this mess. and i tell you, sour cream stinks. gonna stay off cheese cake for a while now. pity i dun hv the pics of shake with me. well, i think she had a great time, haha!!
last wk of hols, and i am super sad. 4+ 5 wks of hols juz went by like that. today is a rest day for me...maybe clean hse. it looks terrible.

i am finally starting my first driving lesson next tue. so scared. well, at least that' one thing off my agenda list for the hols. let's see, still got to do portfolio, write resume, cover letter (hah, as if i will....), catching up with friends back home, meaning writing/emailing them. finding out abt getting PR. hmm...still got quite a lot to be done in the last wk of hols.

i dreamt that my family was here in melb. sigh muz be missing them. oh well, another 5 mths or so, they will be here....
caught pirates of the caribbean yest. johnny depp is a really gd actor. he made his character to be so funny. keira knightley is pretty. the sotong has disgusting slimy tentacles (that's why i dun eat sotong tentacles like some ppl do. it is disgusting lah, like wiggly worms, yucky yucks yucks). the word singapore was mentioned. LOL!! i still rem watching the first one in albert hse 3 yrs ago on vcd. no wonder i found it boring. certain type of shows cannot be watched on small screen, like this one here. glad that i caught this movie though i din know what was going on at times.
on the side note, one, i think my english is really deteriorating. i cant write proper sentences. two, i want to go skiing!! anyone for it too??? three, i dun want to start uni. starting of uni means busy again. the dreaded placement which is commencing soon, argh argh argh...................................

slp last night at 10.30pm and got up at 2+ this afternoon. almost 16 hrs of slp. first time slping for such a long time. catching up on all my slp. camps are always places where we lose our slp and gain weight. july camp 2006 came to an end. had a gd time at the camp learning more abt the book of psalm and getting to know the ppl. had an opportunity to be in the SWAT team with serene, pinghan and kay weng. we had walkie talkies to communicate with each other. so cool. other ppl had fun with the walkie talkies too. serene and i had so much fun waking the girls up each morning, haha... we always 'act' for them, well more like serene acting lah, since she loves to act even in the early mornings ;) . did not slp the last night. re-enacting what happened 2 yrs ago in july camp. did not slp as well. stayed up apparently to join in the fun with watching world cup with other ppl. was so tired, but kept myself awake by chatting with waimay. we had to whisper throughout. when we stopped talking, we fell asleep. woke up when ppl started shouting. watched the penalty kicks. after the match, there was no point of going back to slp, so went to the beach to watch sun rise. it was so so so cold. could hardly keep my eyes open. so zombie-fied. almost fell asleep during the last bible study. decided not to do anything today. ok some pics from the camp. i want pics too ppl. send me send me!! i will send mine to u ppl soon, really.

i am lazy to update my blog....maybe there are too many things happening or there is nothing. i cant make up my mind. busy with july camp stuff. camp is finally on fri. after so many months of preparation, it is finally here. now i understand the surreal feeling.

been some time since i last updated. i've be kept busy with things, well it's mainly VBS. VBS was gd, the children are so energetic. did songs with the children alongside with shake, jamie, eleanor, rebecca. those girls are full of energy as well, unlike me, muahahaha...most of the children were great except the older ones who were more challenging coz they think they it is un-cool to sing songs and do actions. they even think singing is more embarassing than acting!!! well, i beg to differ. oh also finally caught the da vinci code on wed. it was erm...weird...a bit disappointing. read the book but forgot the story. i think it was more interesting in the book.
went for this talk in uni which teaches us how to write resume, CV, do interviews. it was held over 2 days- thur and fri. went for the thur one, it wasnt too bad. hopefully can start writing it out soon.......after july camp (procastinating again). missed the fri one, oh well....(hey lee-ean, we are able to get hold of the video, hee)
so many things to do again. next wk will be busy with july camp preparation. after that will be free. i will be taking up driving lessons this hols( finally!!), find out abt PR stuff, writing out resume, CV, doing portfolios. hmm....wonder how many of those things will i get done. ok dun think too much now, enjoy while i can. =)
