Happy 21st to Pigleg aka yingyuan. tried to search for a decent recent photo, but there are none!! how is that possible?? ok it shows how often u come for our gatherings. oh well, i know u will hv a great 21st anyway.
sore throat, runny nose. argh, dun want to fall sick!! anyway placement was fantastic. cannot believe i am saying this, but i am enjoying this placement. great sch, great teacher, most importantly great children. the sch's so big that i am afraid of getting lost, so i only know how to go to my grade class and to the staff room. put me somewhere else, i will get lost. gd thing i am looking forward to going into the sch. but bad thing i still got lesson plans to do. on the side note, i think it is really funny to see the lil kids carrying huge bags. seriously i mean huge. so poor thing. ok off to do literacy lesson plans for next wk. hope u BECE gals are enjoying it too.

Happy 22nd Chunfei!! trust that u had a fabulous bdae. chunfei invited us over to her place for lunch. lots of food there. can see some of it in the photo below. had a gd time eating and seeing the gals. hmm...can't write much now, tired, getting ready for bed. long day tml again.

hmm...first day wasnt as bad as i imagined. it was pretty gd actually. well, my supervising teacher is actually very nice. there are 3 'Sam's and 2 'James' in the class. so not used to the chn calling me 'Miss Chua'. haha...one day rest tml, fantastic!!

my easter holiday is gone juz like that. wasted it on doing 2 assignments. can't believe it, assignments due during hols. anyway had a wonderful dinner at kimchi lunchbox with serene n TS. after that serene and grace came over my place for a sleepover. watched a few korean variety shows and we were dead-tired. wanted to talk talk, but cannot make it. went to dreamland instead. making too much noise while watching the shows. sorry juen.
msg todae was abt the book of james. same as what we are studying in OCF. i was thinking it's ok if we dun go for service. LOL!! well, tt's juz a thought. went for lunch at bluesky. they have lots of 'fired rice' on the menu. it is funny lah, 'fired rice'. wonders if it comes in a ball of fire or in flames??? LOL!!!!
argh, placement starts tml!! for a whole mth!!! i am really scared. so much work to be done. pls pray for me. will try to update tml abt my first day. i dun want to go.....

finally can take a breather. been so busy the whole holiday. went to visit my placement this morning. it is a really posh school and it's huge too. there are students from kinder to yr 12. goodness me, haven seen so many students for such a long time. my supervising teacher looks rather young but she has an air, like one of our lecturers in uni. it is scary. it also seems like she is such a professional and expects a lot. it is only a small grp of abt 16 or 17 chn. the dreaded placement is here again...for a whole mth, hope everything will turn out well. scared.

called back to ask abt things. everybody sounded strangely fine (oxymoron yes). can hear saddness in dad's voice though. everybody's covering up. again i quote "anyone can see a mask, but it takes more than talent to see the face beneath". in this case, hear them. maybe i grew up in a family of masks. this afternoon was the burial. apparently a lot of ppl came to send my grandfather off in his final journey of his life. relatives from hong kong came too. gd to know that my grandfather had many ppl by his side till his last journey, but a few grandchildren are away though. only talked to my parents and aunt for a gd 10 mins or so. some of the others there went out for dessert!!??!! what is this man?? i missed them...glad that things are fine.
overwhelming!!!!!! too many things to do!!!!
are u gifted and talented?? i sure am coz i am doing gifted and talented essay.
are u safe at home? do u know road safety?? i surely know, coz we are doing assignment on them.

life's fragile. my deepest condolences to my family. i am really sad my grandfather did not accept Christ before he passed away, if not he will be with our father up there in paradise. it distracted me a great deal when i received the shocking sms frm my bro. not concentrating on my work, thinking about how i accidentally deleted the photos we took with my grandfather during CNY.. i really regretted that. now there is no chance of taking any more pictures with him. stupid me..i wouldn't say i am really close to him, coz we only see our relatives when we go back msia for holidays. wouldn't be seeing him anymore. i feel bad for not able to go back to be with my family to pay my last respects to my grandfather. it might sound superficial, but i am affected by it. so to pay respect to my grandfather, i think i shouldn't be having too much fun here while they are mourning over there. my family's going back to msia tml. hope everything will be well. and my bro having his shoulder op tml, so pray that everything will go well with him too. dear God please watch after my family members, esp my dad, during this time.

pretty gd nite at OCF tonight. got huimin to come for the e-nite. think she enjoyed herself, rite...hopefully she will come again coz she will be missed by the frendz she made tonight. she is so well-liked, so sociable, still say shy. yup think the msg was pretty gd too, not too difficult to understand. it was cool how they made the setting as the airport. i got the same response as juen when ppl ate the jelly. hahaha...ok lots of things to do now, but sleepy already. need to wait till 2 to msg friend. had prac briefing this afternoon. this means we are having our prac soon. darn...this is by far the best briefing we had. but i still haven gotten my sch yet. s-l-o-w coordinator.
huixian left messages on my tagboard, this is something to celebrate about. *brings out party hats* LOL!! well, i am excited wat, coz i thought she doesnt pop in here anymore. okok i admit i am in for cheap thrills like this. i am easily excited over little things sometimes. muahahaha...
oh the other hand, so much work piling up again. will be kept busy with assignments from now till easter. after easter 4 wks of prac with 1 day off coz of anzac day. tt means we will be doing 19 days instead of 20. yeah!! *calls out for a party again* cheap thrills cheap thrills...
