yeah christmas is coming, which is tml. it rained so heavily todae. so nice!! been raining for the past few days. din manage to go for a swim. wat a perfect excuse. parents out to a family friend's place. feeling a lil tired and sick, so din want to go. crap hungry now, haven eaten dinner. hope they will bring some food back. haha...anyways will be off to msia for a wk...ok here's a classic - wishing everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year!!!

been going out the whole day for the past 2 days. grace and toh sin stopped over in spore b4 going back home. grace came to spore on mon. we (phoebe, serene, peipei and i) went to sentosa. went to the beach to walk arnd. there is really nothing to see in sentosa yet so many ppl are there. anyway we on on this really fun thing called the 'sentosa' luge'. it is a self-control roller coaster ride. we are on this scooter sort of thing and speeding thru twists and turns. after reaching the bottom, we go back up on the chairlift. the only chairlift in spore. anyway it sounds like i am advertising, coz i m. LOL!! saw this advert in the mag which shows the 'sentosa luge'. it was raining when we went on the first time. it is seriously fun, like driving without licence. the other attraction other than the 'sentosa luge' is prob the musical fountain. went there 1 hr early to get seats and caught the first show. there were so many ppl there.
the same few of us met up for lunch yest and walked arnd suntec city, raffles city and bugis. thought din hv a chance to meet ts coz we din leave our contacts, but luckily managed to meet at bugis for dinner. grace n i had mos burger den the rest had beef noodles. the mos burger was superb. *yum* anyway sat down to catch up with each other for a bit b4 going back. really tired, but had a gd time.
hmm...den todae went changi hospital, thought i could remove the cyst, but had to wait another 2 wks, coz i will be away next wk. i still had to get parents' consent b4 having the surgery, not of age yet. feels gd to be young, but not for long. haha..
ok going to rest at home for a few days, coz used up all my energy. haha..well, it's better to stay at home for dinner, been out too often. realised i update a lot when i m back home. maybe nothing to do here. hope ppl reading wun get too bored...pics pics pics to keep ppl entertained.

had an enjoyable time with some of my sec one classmates - huixian, wanli, ziying and le tian. new experience eating at the indian restaurant. did not know how to eat, so took some of everything. pretty ok the food. took some time to warm up as we haven seen each other for quite some time. took a lot of pics as usual. went out to take more pics. it was fun meeting up with these ppl. wonder when the next time would be. hopefully there will be one soon and more ppl will come.

watched king kong at lido with serene and peishan. the theatre and sound system was much better than the last time. pretty gd movie. a little too much drama of dinosaurs attacking them. nevertheless, $8 well spent for a 3 hrs movie, haha..yes call me cheapskate, wat to do when i hv no money...after movie went holland village for dinner. my first time there despite being in spore all my life. we paraded (as serene puts it) up and down the street looking for a place to eat and finally settled for bread for dinner. while parading, we saw one spore actor in one of the eatery.. after dinner we once again paraded the streets to look for a place for dessert and went into nydc for the expensive piece of ice-cream cake. well, it really tastes gd though. it was home sweet home after tt.
argh i haven bought jay chou's cd!!! and xiao zhu's too!!!
most likely going to msia during the christmas wk. maybe going to some other states other than juz visiting my grandparents. yeah hols are great!!
our 'cookie monster mudpie' (i think tt's wat it's called). the cake itself cost almost 10 bucks, and the scoop of ice-cream beside it cost $3!!! day-light robbery, but it was gd though. so in the last pic, we prob wasted like at least $2, hahaha!!!

had a gd time catching up with huixian yest. went to bugis to hv late vegetarian lunch. exchanged teaching experiences. teaching in spore is really tough compared to aust. second thoughts about coming back to teach. hah. after lunch walked arnd a little and took our annual neoprint. we took more pictures while waiting for wanli and xueying to come. met chunfei at bugis too. wat a coincidence. tt huimin was supposed to come, but tt gal went back to change shoes and did not come back. bad!! yingyuan supposed to come too, but she got another gathering. great to meet up with the gals. how i miss those sec 1K days. it is a gd thing tt we might hv a 1K gathering soon.

this weekend went by very quickly. my aunty, uncle n cousin came down from msia. been out the whole day for these 2 days. walked arnd a lot and ate gd food. i realised entertaining my cousin is very tiring. going down to the pool to watch after her when she is swimming and joining her todae. had dim sum with them and family. not tt nice compared to melb and seattle one. but there were so many ppl there. yest after dinner walked to the beach for a stroll. nearly all the chalets are filled with ppl. there were so many ppl at the beach. i enjoy spending time with family!!! hopefully still going some places for hols....

feeling more tired than usual. good to be home. feels surreal. finally came out of hiding yest when serene
this morning went to see the doctor abt the growth on my elbow. doctor said it is a cyst. going to remove it 2 wks ltr. walked arnd with mum for a bit den went town to meet wanli, duan ni n huimin. wanli walked all the way to taka with us and went back to work without having lunch. so the 3 of us went crystal jade to hv 'la mian'. first time eating at crystal jade. there are so many crystal jade on the same level. after tt went to this place which has really cool kids' toys. very cool i mean. okok better go slp now........

finally back at home. the flight was alright, but there were quite a no. of turbulances, made me sick. there was one time which was esp bad when there was turbulance when we were having dinner. imagine watching movie, eating and having turbulance at the same time. one word - sick. dun like the smell of the food on the plane. stinks. serene was tempting me by telling me she was having supper after getting off the plane, so i got my parents to get some food for me on our way back. we had popiah and roti prata!! hee, so nice. the first bite was ... wow, heavenly. ate so much food before slping. pig. my parents were late to pick me from the airport, felt so vulnerable there alone with so many other ppl. claustrophobic. hahaha!!!
the last few hours in melb was so unbearable. did not know wat to do. woke up in the morning, carried on packing, talked to juen until she fell asleep. LOL. took out some old magazines to read, trying to make time pass faster. finally the time came. the starbus came so punctually. n to the airport. we had so much luggage but the nice guy let us pass. haha. also met this witty air steward on the flight, trying to be funny. sat between serene and this gal who was coming to spore to visit her relative. she is a mixed too, reminds me of jess. haha..
ok update some more frm my last few days in melb.
sunday night
grace planned an advanced bdae celebration for me and benny. coz the both of us wun be in melb, so thus the celebration. there were (if i m not mistaken) 12 of us at ITO, the jap restaurant. they got me a white bag which i liked. i had been eyeing that bag everytime i walked passed that shop. haha...thankyou ppl!!!
monday
went DFO with serene. walked walked walked. in the evening went karaoke with the ocf ppl. super tiring. stayed over at grace's place.
tuesday
woke up early to go vic mark to get things to bring back home. helped grace with the inspection thingy after tt. went for movie, flightplan, with jean, esther and aaron. nice movie.
yup yup, basically tt's wat happened before i came back. busy busy, din hv gd rest. ok going to go into hiding for a few days first. will contact u all soon....
